There’s been a lot of talk on various social media channels about Empty Classroom Day. It’s happening next Friday – 17th June. Across the teachers are being encouraged to go outside and teach – as a celebration of all that being outside has to offer.
I was approached several months ago to ask if I could contribute to the resources page. Very kindly, Crown House Publishing agreed to allow part of the Dirty Teaching book to be used for this purpose. You can download the resource here and enjoy browsing what others have contributed too – Mission Explore have provided the humorous graphics which are always a joy to look at.
Empty Classroom Day is being sponsored by EcoSchools England, Project Dirt and Persil #Dirtisgood. There is also an Empty Classroom Day that is entirely unconnected to this one which is grassroots based and has resources and ideas for those who work in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
