In March 2010, the Geography Collective is launching an inspirational book of activities to undertake in an urban setting. As a taster of what’s to come they’ve launched this video clip.

Will this motivate children to get out exploring? What do you think?

I love this kind of performance art. I don’t know if it will inspire kids, but it inspires me!

One of my sidelines is as the leader of a group called the Superhuggers that show up at community events dressed as superheroes and, well, hug people. There are nearly 100 of us now!

I’ve also been active with a group called Improv Everywhere, and love to perform in Seattle’s summer solstice parade.

Have you ever heard of the Everything Is OK Guys? They’re doing amazing stuff as well on your side of the pond.

Thanks for post this. Fun!

Hi Tom

I had a look on YouTube – I see what you mean about the parallels between both activities.

I’m now wondering whether your profile photo is you in action as a “Superhugger”!

Best wishes
