All I want for a natural Christmas is…

The festive season is well underway and I’ve not had time to rush around the shops. Instead I’ve been compiling my own wishlist of natural goodies…

On the first day of Christmas, all the trees gave to me…

Lots of sticks

On the second day of Christmas, the deciduous trees gave to me…

Lots of leaves

On the third day of Christmas the planet Earth gave to me…

Lots of stones

On the fourth day of Christmas, the ocean gave to me…

Many beautiful shells

On the fifth day of Christmas, the ocean also gave to me…

The most beautiful sea glass

On the sixth day of Christmas, the birds gave to me…

Feathers found on a field

On the seventh day of Christmas, the sheep gave to me…

Wool gathered from hills and moorland

On the eighth day of Christmas, winter gave to me…

Snow, ready for play, learning and laughter (Copyright Frode Svane – THANK YOU!)

On the ninth day of Christmas, the trees gave to me…

Nuts of all shapes and sizes

On the tenth day of Christmas, the earth and sea gave to me…

Sand, because we all love beaches!

On the eleventh day of Christmas, the earth also gave to me…

Mud, for messing in

On the twelfth day of Christmas, a little sikta sapling gave to me…

Joy!
What ever you are doing, natural materials make being outside the special place that it is. Happy Holidays!

Thanks for all the comments – yes I’ll link up. Chandi – I look forward to your bird post – not least cos that’s a project I’m just beginning with one class.
